We bought this gate to keep our 15 month toddler away from our free standing wood fireplace. We were really worried how we were going to keep him safe while still keeping our house warm this winter, and this gate is the perfect answer. It's heavy enough that we haven't attached it to the wall like others have said, which is nice when we go to clean the fireplace or bring wood into the wood box. It's extremely flexible and I can see it's going to come in handy in the summer when we're out in the yard as well. The colour is an off white which is great and blends in much better than a stark white would. I would recommend this gate as a must have for any family with a little one. Excellent gate!

This baby gate is well made in places, but the hinges and wall mount anchors feel a bit light. I just finished installing it so I don't know how long they will last. The instructions are not written in any concise manner but it doesn't matter, it's pretty self explanatory.

Great item; sturdy; perfect for keeping our twin boys safe when running to do laundry, etc. They actually like to play in there (even when I am in the room sometimes). It's on the heavy side, but that is what we wanted; don't need the boys pushing it around! :) I also love the vertical bars (helps to limit climbing).
